Kathy Matheson joins the faculty
April 12th, 2016
Welcome our newest member of the faculty.
Kathy Matheson has worked for the Associated Press in Philadelphia since 2005, gradually moving from editing and reporting text stories to full-time video work. In addition to breaking news, video topics have included the making of the Joe Frazier statue, nuns who baked communion wafers for the pope’s visit, the future of the SS United States and the restoration of the world’s largest musical instrument. Before AP, she held various reporting and editing positions at newspapers along the Northeast Corridor. Kathy grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from Boston University. She now teaches multimedia journalism at Temple University, recently competed in her first crossword competition and owns a very bad orange cat.
